About Our Speaker

Kathryn Cook is the CEO of NuCicer, a food technology company reinventing the chickpea with high-protein content and improved agronomic traits to enable affordable, nutritious protein ingredients. Kathryn started her career as a materials science engineer and then transitioned into technical program management leading the development of new products spanning new materials, autonomous aircraft systems, and AI voice assistants. Kathryn's shift into food technology was prompted by a desire to get back to her roots in materials science and leverage her experiences in product development to have a positive impact on the environmental sustainability of our integrated food system.
