Black founders are one of the fastest-growing demographics of entrepreneurs in the United States. However, they are still underrepresented and face barriers when starting and growing a business. With the growing number of notable Black entrepreneurs, it is more important than ever to share their stories to inspire even more to unleash their ideas and start their own businesses. However, inspiration only goes so far and Black entrepreneurs at all stages — idea stage, early stage and growth stage — need targeted resources to help them reach the next level.
Global Entrepreneurship Week highlights Black entrepreneurs across the country and around the world as well as those who are developing new tools and resources to empower their local entrepreneurs.
