Global Trade Mission and STEMpreneurship®

Global Trade Mission (GTM) is an intensive, hands-on learning experience that simulates an entrepreneurial and international business trade mission. Students are convened into diverse groups of four and presented with a major global challenge where they are tasked with devising a workable solution.

These groups are supported and engaged by-world practitioners and leaders in their fields of industries who serve as mentors and coaches. In addition to working the muscles of collaboration, problem-solving, and communication, students become familiar with exciting careers in business and international relations, especially in industries connected to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM).

The Global Trade Mission provides a unique experience for students to participate in a simulated trade mission.

To date, over 5,000 students have learned about issues in global trade, cultural diversity, entrepreneurship, and business and technology tools through The Global Trade Mission program.

GTM is made possible through a partnership between Secondary Schools, Colleges/Universities, local governments, and the private sector, and is an outstanding model of business, government, and education working together to address the skills of 21st century students.

This Intensive, three-day, hands-on learning experience will help your students:
