Revolution Capital is based in DC and is managed by Steve Case, the founder of AOL.

The Rise of the Rest Fund is part of Revolution Capital.

Mr. David Hall is the Managing Director of the Rise of the Rest Fund and he will be our guest speaker.

This is a $150 MILLION FUND. Mr. Hall has been part of making 150 investments.

The Rise of the Rest movement is a bus tour of 2nd tier cities that are outside of Silicon Valley, Boston and NY. The Rise of the Rest is also the name of the book by Steve Case.

In 2015, I BEGGED the Rise of the Rest tour to come to Wilmington NC when they toured from Richmond, Durham, Charleston, Atlanta to New Orleans.

I met David Hall at the Triangle Startup Week and with persistent follow up, he agreed to visit and speak in Wilmington.

We have also added Tim McLoughlin of Cofounders Capital as the moderator of the Riverside Chat with Mr. Hall after his opening comments. Cofounders Capital of Raleigh / Cary has invested twice in Wilmington.

We have added an opening speaker for education of entrepreneurs on the POST presentation to the investor stage. Charlotte Ketelaar will speak for 20 minutes on the due diligence process where the investors take a deep dive on the business plan and the references.
