Live Stream: Flipping the Story: Using Entrepreneurial Thinking to Turn a Challenge into a Positive Outcome

Join us as a panel of alumni and Penn State faculty and staff share their compelling stories of how they faced challenges and used entrepreneurial thinking to ‘Flip the Story.’ Erin Weidemann — keynote speaker at the Business of Positive Change luncheon — will moderate a discussion with this diversely experienced panel. Kevin Snider, Chancellor of the New Kensington Commonwealth campus will share how entrepreneurship is helping to flip the story of a rust belt community; Aaron Lamphere (2015) will share how he is helping to change the story of underserved youth with the software startup he co-founded in the D.C. area; and Leslie Laing, Director of Adult Learner Programs and Services in Student Affairs, will decribe how she faced a life challenge that eventually led to her role at Penn State, advocating for adult learners who are flipping their own stories. Come, listen, and perhaps share your own ‘Flipped Story.’ For more information, visit gew.psu.edu.
