The Livingston County Entrepreneurship Competition and Career Fair

Hartland DECA is holding an Entrepreneurial Competition and Entrepreneurial Career Fair in which Livingston County high school students will have the opportunity to compete for monetary prizes and learn about Livingston County’s own entrepreneurs. Many of Livingston County DECA students have been highly successful at DECA competitions, however, it is rare that DECA competitors have a chance like this to practice their business skills in a way that benefits their community.    

Competitors in this event are given the task to pitch, to a judge, a product or service that benefit their community. Both competitors and noncompetitors are given the opportunity to partake in the career fair. Local business and local entrepreneurs are invited to come and talk about their experiences and give advice to aspiring young entrepreneurs.
