This year, GEN Namibia along with partners Basecamp Hub and Acelera Namibia, will kick off the festivities with a launch event followed by an International Startup Huddle where entrepreneurs will be able to share their ideas and learn from others (United Kingdom, South Africa, Lesotho, Zambia and more will be in attendance; a pitching event where startups can find a potential investor; a Master Class on Hydrogen green energy, financing your startup, how to utlise AI to enhance your operations; and the annual Namibian Business Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. This will be the 20th year of celebrating entrepreneurs and professionals in Namibia.
The induction ceremony is a program of GEN Namibia aimed at recognizing outstanding Namibian entrepreneurs and business leaders for their contribution to the Namibia’s economy. During this week, all our partners around the world will host activities to support entrepreneurs. GEW offers an exciting, informative and stimulating platform for entrepreneurs from all walks of life, creating an exciting program to learn, network, and grow your business through possible mentorship and funding opportunities, or simply by connecting with fellow entrepreneurs.
Under the theme “Entrepreneurship is for Everyone”, GEN will be celebrating 17 years of GEW helping millions of people across the world unleash their ideas to start and scale new businesses through Global Entrepreneurship Week. Attendees will have the chance to hear from industry leaders, participate in dynamic workshops, and pitching events while connecting with like-minded entrepreneurs in a collaborative environment. The program is tailored for all Namibian entrepreneurs, aspiring entrepreneurs, investors or those who are simply passionate about the startup ecosystem.
