The New Latin Food Ecosystem (Spanish)

Los participantes conocerán a una cosecha de prometedores empresarios de comida latina que están expandiendo los horizontes de la gastronomía de Tulsa. Los asistentes probarán una muestra de esta nueva cocina de fusión latina.

Estos talleres están siendo coordinados por la Asociación Hispana de Pequeñas Empresas (Hispanic SBA), una iniciativa del Centro Uma de Tulsa. El objetivo de la SBA Hispana es apoyar el lanzamiento y crecimiento de micro y pequeñas empresas a través de la educación, asistencia técnica, tutoría y acceso a recursos. Nuestros miembros son negocios locales de tipo familiar, muchos de ellos dirigidos por mujeres.

Participants will be introduced to a crop of up-and-coming food entrepreneurs expanding the culinary horizons of Tulsa's gastronomy. Attendees will taste the Latin fusion cuisines popping up in Tulsa.

This workshop is powered by the Hispanic Small Business Association (Hispanic SBA), an initiative of the Uma Center of Tulsa. The goal of the Hispanic SBA is to support the launch and growth of micro and small businesses through education, technical assistance, mentoring, and access to resources. Our members are primarily local, family-own, women-led businesses.

My name is Adriana Pavon originally from Venezuela, my business is an Artesnal Bakery. We bake a delicious artisan bread free of additives and preservatives.

My name is Emmanuel Lujano, originally from Mexico, I am the owner of The red Tacos and sell an authentic and delicious birria tacos.

My name is Ruberto Parra, originally from Venezuela and owner of the Super Pastel LLC. We sale pastelitos and tequenos.

My name is Jacinta Aguayo, originally from Jalpa Zacatecas Mexico, I am the owner of Chintas Tacos and Banquets, we cater to all type of events.
