This Summer, August 13-27, 2022, Mr. Adamou Yazi will participate in a two-week IVLP program designed by the U.S. Department of State entitled “Entrepreneurship as the Engine of Prosperity and Stability.” The program aims to promote small business development, innovation, and entrepreneurial acumen as paths to socio-economic wellbeing and political stability. During this program will attend official briefings, panels, workshops; visit incubators and accelerators, State & local business ecosystems in Washington, Orlando and Chicago.
Mr. Yazi is currently the President of Niger Business Angels Network. The organization works with hundreds of new and established female entrepreneurs to help them develop, and advocates to increase the number of women-owned and operated enterprises in Niger. Mr. Yazi is also the Director of ACCEntrepreneur, a Nigerien Independent Training Center in Business and Entrepreneurship. In his role, Mr. Yazi trains and mentors young people as well as women in entrepreneurship through an incubation program. He supports their entrepreneurial development from idea conception to launch, providing them with the tools to be investment ready. Mr. Yazi is the Managing Director of Global Entrepreneurship Network Niger.
The International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) is the U.S. Department of State’s premier professional exchange program. Through short-term visits to the United States, current and emerging foreign leaders in a variety of fields experience this country firsthand and cultivate lasting relationships with their American counterparts. Professional meetings reflect the participants’ professional interests and support the foreign policy goals of the United States.
