In Albania, GEN works to foster entrepreneurship through various initiatives and programs. Our various programs include:
- Global Entrepreneurship Week: This annual event celebrates and empowers entrepreneurs throughout the country with networking events, policy roundtables, panel discussions and other activities aimed at supporting Albania's entrepreneurs.
- Policy development: GEN works to create more favorable government policies for entrepreneurs. For example, GEN participated in a regional summit to discuss the development of Albanian startups focused on AI.
- Research and insights: GEN provides information and analysis on the state of entrepreneurship in Albania and globally.
- Partnerships: GEN works in collaborates with private companies, government agencies, educational institutions, and other organizations, including the Startup Albania Foundation and JA Albania to promote entrepreneurship.
- Networking: GEN works in Albania to build a community for entrepreneurs, investors, mentors, and other stakeholders.
GEN operates a platform of projects and programs in 200 countries aimed at making it easier for anyone, anywhere to start and scale a business by fostering deeper cross border collaboration and initiatives for entrepreneurs, investors, researchers, policymakers and entrepreneurial support organizations. GEN helps celebrate, understand, support and connect entrepreneurs and those who champion them.
