GEN in Puerto Rico

Through Global Entrepreneurship Week, GEC+, and ongoing partnerships, GEN has worked alongside many of Puerto Rico's leading entrepreneurship organizations—including Colmena66, Parallel18, Banco Popular de Puerto Rico, and numerous public and private sector partners—to strengthen the island's entrepreneurial ecosystem. Puerto Rico's universities—including the University of Puerto Rico, Universidad del Sagrado Corazón, and other higher education institutions—have also been active contributors to GEN initiatives, engaging students, researchers, faculty, and aspiring entrepreneurs through entrepreneurship education and ecosystem-building activities.

Entrepreneurs Thrive Here: Global Entrepreneurship Week 2026

Millions of people around the world have the ideas, talent, and ambition to build something better for themselves and their communities — but have never seen entrepreneurship as a path available to them. Global Entrepreneurship Week, taking place November 16-22, 2026, changes that. This campaign meets people where they are and connects them to the networks, tools, and support to take that first step — showing what’s possible in their own communities.
