WHO WE ARE?

Just a couple of 22-year-old uni students with a joint passion for all things Earth-friendly. Having grown up in Malta witnessing overdevelopment and an apparent lack of care towards our environment, we decided it was time to do something about it. In 2021, we came up with Happy Pot, and the journey so far has been nothing short of spectacular. It’s made us both grow as people, and has continued to confirm the values that we hold so dear to our hearts.

WHAT DO WE DO?

Well, we make pots. More specifically, we make fully customisable, ultra-sustainable plant pots made from recycled bioplastics.

Besides that, we’re also trying to rally our generation and the next behind the common goal of preserving our Earth. By promoting a sustainable lifestyle and the benefits that come along with it, we hope to inspire you to make some small but meaningful changes to your life, for the greater good.

Reduce. Reuse. Recycle. And plant more trees.

WHERE ARE WE HEADED?

So what’s our goal? Trees. Lots of them.

We want to fight back against climate change by offsetting the amount of carbon in our atmosphere, and the best way to do that is by planting trees where it matters. We want to reforest 200,000m2 of land by the end of 2024, and every product sold contributes to more trees planted in developing countries.

HOW ARE WE GOING TO GET THERE?

We have the utmost faith in Happy Pot’s ability to encourage people to prioritise the planet. We want to promote a better Earth to the generations of tomorrow, not just by caring for a houseplant or ten, but by way of implementing sustainable habits into your everyday life and being active in the community.

On a local level, we’re organising monthly beach-clean ups and giving back to nature-preserving non-profits. As Happy Pot grows, so too does its impact on the world as we continue to seek out bigger and better green ventures to take on beyond our shores.

WHY DO WE DO IT?

Besides providing a sustainable alternative to pots everywhere, Happy Pot stands for something bigger.

It’s easy to take our planet for granted until we see the human cost of its degradation: hunger, displacement, unemployment, illness and deaths. With natural disasters and extreme climate conditions on the rise, global warming is no longer a possibility, but a definite threat to our prolonged existence. By encouraging you to respect our precious Earth, we hope to make a positive impact on its future.
