Hydroplus

We are an entrepreneurship from the Argentine Patagonia, born in mid-2021, that markets an innovative product that combats water scarcity in the domestic and agricultural field, being a key tool to avoid the water deficit in gardens and crops.

In Argentina, since 2019 the droughts have worsened and extended, and currently several provinces are in a water emergency. By 2050, it is estimated that at least three out of four people in the world are at risk of living in a country affected by drought. More than 70% of the extracted water is used for agriculture and domestic use such as watering our plants. With current irrigation systems, much of it is lost through infiltration and/or evaporation, which is a huge problem and a clear waste of this scarce resource.

Hydroplus improves the water retention capacity of the soil and its nutrient content, reducing the frequency of irrigation and the water consumed by up to 50%. This saves water, time and money, through the use of a biodegradable and non-toxic product, being a solution to the problems generated by the lack of water in arid areas, which due to climate change are increasing.
