ImPower'd Woman Book Club

ImPower’d Woman is a registered non-profit organisation working for the rights and empowerment of women. We do this through a book club. We read 1 book per month, and review last weekend of the month. On Saturday, we discuss the book on our WhatsApp group, and on Sunday 3PM, we have a Zoom session to review the book of the month. Our aim is to empower, educate and celebrate women. Our vision is for an empowered woman who is celebrated for who she is. Our network has 180 women. ImPower’d Woman was established in July 2019, as part of the Black Management Forum Women In Power Lift as you rise project. We recently won the Accenture Gender Mainstreaming Award for Empowerment of Women in the community, under nonprofits in Southern Africa.
