Turbulent

Turbulent proposes a new kind of hydropower. Instead of building on big dam, we build multiple smaller units that do not require a dam. This can be done with turbines that work with low head differences. We designed these by getting our inspiration from nature, the whirlpool. That way our turbines are designed to work with extremely low pressures and are also fish friendly. Our CFD based optimization allows for compact and easy to manufacture turbines. That way we can produce locally and install large networks of turbines in remote regions that provide clean energy and local employment without harming nature.
