With the political destabilization in Pakistan, the community leaders Ms. Samia Khan and Saira Haq are expecting an increment in gender-based violence in reaction to Pakistan’s falling apart financial development. It is absolutely necessary to understand the underlying factors that create negativity among household in local community and that unfortunately turns out to be financial. The two community leaders believed that if females who contribute approximately 50% of the Pakistan’s population gets educated in entrepreneurship, they can resist the negative impact of economy on local household.
With the help of local stakeholders (FitXpress365, Khadija Business Network Global Community, Queens of Twin Cities Community) and continuous support from GEN-Pakistan, an informative and valuable session about “The Business Model Canvas” was delivered by Ms. Samia Khan (Founder FitXpress365) on December 31st,2022 in a hybrid setting. The aim of the session was to educate the community and bring awareness among the local community business members.
There was a good number of participants attended the session interactively. The event was organized to empower home-based entrepreneurs and turn them into brands.
The Business Model Canvas permitted the female entrepreneurs to distinguish the qualities & shortcomings of their businesses/startups and given them a sense of direction. The members were super energized after getting the all encompassing picture of their businesses through this engaging session. A few of the members recognized the shortcomings of their trade through Business Model Canvas whereas others recognized the sections they overlooked within the long run. The Business Model Canvas activity served as a solid action for female entrepreneurs generally. Members were moreover granted with the certificates for their dynamic and positive commitments.
