The Exporta Fácil project represents great support for the internationalization of SMEs in the country. It was implemented in 2022, and through the coordinated work of MIC with the National Postal Directorate of Paraguay (Dinacopa); the National Customs Directorate (DNA), the National Civil Aeronautics Directorate (Dinac), the Single Export Window (VUE) and the Vice Ministry of Rediex, who make up the "Interinstitutional Commission for the Management and Implementation of Exporta Fácil in Paraguay", coordinated by the Vice Ministry of SMEs of MIC through the General Directorate of Information and Internationalization. The project was implemented with support from the European Union as part of the Mipyme Compite program.
This project, which will now enter a phase of sustainability and expansion, seeks to encourage the country's SMEs to formalize and begin their internationalization process by facilitating tools that allow them to market their products anywhere in the world at low cost, which contributes to raising their competitiveness. For the following phases, it is expected to have new support from the Mipyme Compite project and the cooperation of more institutions in the Interinstitutional Commission.
"Exporta Fácil" is a regional project that aims to promote the formalization and internationalization of SMEs through simplified export using postal logistics through a web system. It aims to contribute to achieving the insertion of the largest number of SMEs in Latin America in the international market, intra and extra-regional, and boost the regional economy while promoting the formalization and internationalization of SMEs.
Exporta Fácil allows formalized companies (those that at least have RUC) to send products up to $2,500 invoice value through the postal service, with a weight limit of 20 kg, and has special discounts for SMEs that have Mipymes ID. The service request is made through VUE, which articulates the process with other actors involved.
