The Reemujer program or project of assistance to the Economic Recovery and Empowerment of Women of Latin America and the Caribbean, carried out by the Technical Mission of Taiwan in the country, again benefits in its fourth call another 100 ventures led by women from different parts of the country.
This was reported by the Reemujer program, which is implemented in the country by the Technical Mission of Taiwan, with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan) in Paraguay and the Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MIC) for the calls through the Vice Ministry of Mipymes.
"We are pleased to announce the 100 winners of the fourth Seed Capital call. Congratulations to these women, we congratulate each kuña guapa for all the effort, dedication and love that they have put into their ventures, we wish them the greatest success and that a new stage of much prosperity and economic development begins", says the post of the program.
Capital and Assistance
Each of the ventures will receive a non-reimbursable economic support of USD 2,500, in order to boost the businesses, in addition to contributing to the growth and development of Paraguay. The total amount of the funds for this call reaches USD 250,000.
It should be mentioned that the general objective of the program is to strengthen and support micro, small and medium enterprises, so that they can face the economic consequences that remained after the pandemic, in addition to promoting the economic recovery of the sector.
Likewise, as its name says, Reemujer seeks to promote employment through ventures led by women, so the beneficiaries not only access the seed capital funds, but also receive technical and comprehensive assistance for the businesses.
The award ceremony will take place on Thursday, November 16, from 8:00 a.m., at the MIC headquarters. The non-reimbursable amount of USD 1,800, which this year is added to a digital voucher worth USD 700, with which the use of new technologies to boost the venture will be implemented.
