“Innovando Startups is the first Paraguayan program to support innovation presented to the members of the Global Entrepreneurship Network.”
With the aim of empowering digital entrepreneurs, this year InnovandoPY returns, an initiative of the Ministry of Information and Communication Technologies (MITIC) that seeks to strengthen and ensure the progress of entrepreneurs with high potential ideas. The program will be financed with resources from the Digital Agenda Support Program.
The application period will be open until March 24 and 20 ventures will be selected for the incubation process, those interested can apply at https://registro.innovando.gov.py/
This initiative, which has been carried out since 2015, has been supporting interesting proposals in various areas such as cybersecurity, fintech, medicine, among others. In addition to seed capital, InnovandoPY offers entrepreneurs a wide range of knowledge from expert Instructors and Mentors, who help entrepreneurs boost their ventures.
The process has 4 well-defined stages or phases; the application, an incubation program, a Demo Day or selection and the subsequent accompaniment to the winning startups.
This year, the selected projects will be able to receive seed capital of USD 20,000, after going through an intense program, which will address topics such as legal matters, canvas canvas, UX/UI design, financial analysis, pitching, among others.
Likewise, participating teams will have the opportunity to connect with investors and receive mentorships from experienced people in various fields such as finance, technology, marketing, etc.
InnovandoPy is an initiative of the Ministry of Information and Communication Technologies that seeks to identify innovative technological ideas, inspire, motivate, empower and strengthen young entrepreneurs.
In addition, it seeks to connect the private sector with the public, collaborate with the development of projects with a digital base and high growth potential and consolidate the ecosystem of ventures with a technological base in Paraguay. For more information go to www.innovando.gov.py
