The "Emprende Fest" kicks off Global Entrepreneurship Week, organized by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce through the Vice Ministry of SMEs, and supported by the European Union. It aims to inspire entrepreneurs, connect key ecosystem players, and boost business and market opportunities.

During the event's opening, the Head of State assured that the path to progress must be built with unity and collective effort. He also spoke about Paraguay's advancement and emphasized the importance of cooperation between public and private institutions to achieve a more prosperous country, highlighting that the success of one ministry is the success of all.

Peña praised the work of Paraguayan entrepreneurs who face significant challenges, such as high interest rates and an education system still in the process of improvement, but who continue with courage and commitment.

"The path of entrepreneurship is difficult, but we must not give up. If we all collaborate, Paraguay can overcome any obstacle," Peña affirmed.

The President called on entrepreneurs not to be discouraged by failure, assuring that courage and solidarity in economic processes are essential for national growth.

Challenges are inevitable, but resilience is key

Minister Javier Giménez emphasized the importance of entrepreneurs' resilience and adaptability, not only locally but globally, noting that challenges are inevitable, but the ability to overcome them defines the success of small businesses.

He also encouraged Paraguayan entrepreneurs to accept challenges as part of the process, indicating that resilience and persistence are key to achieving success in a competitive and constantly changing environment. He urged those starting a business not to give up in the process.

"On this special day, I want to tell everyone to embrace the concept of failure, which is part of the learning process that leads to the success of an idea or business," said the MIC head.

He also celebrated that Paraguay has a space of opportunities dedicated to this ecosystem, noting that the Government of Paraguay will continue working on projects that strengthen young people and contribute to the development of sustainable businesses.
