From November 18 to 24, the world will celebrate Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW), an event that resonates in more than 180 countries and, in Paraguay, is carried out with the enthusiasm and dedication that characterizes the local entrepreneurial community.
GEN Paraguay, the arm of the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN Global), has been the standard-bearer of this initiative in our country for more than 15 years, fostering an ecosystem where ideas turn into projects and projects into tangible realities.
GEW is not just a celebration; it is a platform to connect, inspire, and empower entrepreneurs. With more than 20,000 institutions organizing 43,000 events, GEW has managed to bring together over ten million people around a common vision: creating opportunities for all.
In 2023, GEN Paraguay coordinated nearly 300 activities with the collaboration of 200 allied organizations, extending its reach to 15 of the 17 departments of the country. This collective effort has positioned Paraguay in an admirable fifth place in the global GEW ranking, reflecting the commitment and passion for entrepreneurship that burns in the heart of our nation.
GEW is more than a week on the calendar; it is a movement that transcends borders and unites cultures. It is an open invitation for anyone, regardless of their location or resources, to dream of a future where they are the protagonists of their own success.
GEN Paraguay continues to lead this movement, not only celebrating achievements but also weaving networks and transferring essential knowledge so that Paraguayan and global entrepreneurs can change the current landscape and forge a better tomorrow.
