A Nation of Innovators Dreaming Big

For 18 years, Paraguay has done more than just participate in Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW); it lives it as a true festival of national transformation. In 2025, the country reached its "coming of age" within the entrepreneurial movement, consolidating itself as a beacon of innovation, resilience, and community in Latin America.

GEW in Paraguay is more than just a series of events; it is a celebration of those who dare to turn ideas into life-changing solutions. During one week in November, the country transformed into a living laboratory where local talent connected with a global vision.

Voices Driving Change

The success of #GEW2025 in Paraguay was powered by the strength of its leaders, who shared more than 50 messages charged with vision and commitment. From the public sector to academia, the message was unanimous: entrepreneurship is the engine of the future.

"Every Paraguayan venture can conquer the world. During Global Entrepreneurship Week, we celebrate that transformative conviction," stated Romina Da Re, Director General for the Internationalization of MSMEs (MIC).

This ambition is backed by educational institutions that see the birth of the next generation of leaders within their classrooms. Dr. Nadia Czeraniuk, Rector of UNAE, highlighted the promotion of a culture based on "innovation, sustainability, and social commitment," while Javier Battilana, Rector of the Universidad Columbia del Paraguay, celebrated "the courage of those who, through their entrepreneurial spirit, drive innovation and strengthen the economic development of our nations."

A Movement Without Borders

Geography has been no barrier. As Juan Paredes, National Director of Entrepreneurship (DINAEM), aptly noted: "Paraguay enthusiastically embraces #GEW2025, celebrating the creative and resilient strength of its entrepreneurs in every corner of the country." From major cities to emerging communities, the spirit of "constructive rebellion" promoted by GEN Global was felt with great force.

GEN Paraguay: Weaving the Future

Under the leadership of GEN Paraguay, this movement has evolved from an annual celebration into a permanent network for knowledge transfer and strategic support. It is not just about celebrating achievements; it is about building the necessary bridges for Paraguayan founders to access global markets.

Global Entrepreneurship Week in Paraguay is, in essence, a promise kept: the promise of a united community where entrepreneurship is the master key that opens the doors to a more prosperous and inclusive tomorrow.

Let’s keep building! The future of Paraguay is entrepreneurial.
