Paraguay Shines in the Finals of the Entrepreneurship World Cup at Biban 24

Among the finalists selected globally after their success in national competitions are two outstanding Paraguayan entrepreneurs: Carmen Paredes with her startup RURUKA and Claudia Requejo with her startup MOBI LATAM. Both managed to position themselves among the top 250 companies in the world and participated in a global training camp, from which the top 100 emerging startups were selected to compete in the Biban 24 finals. The General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises “Monsha’at” is sponsoring the finals of the Entrepreneurship World Cup, which will be held from November 5 to 9, 2024, as part of the Biban 24 forum at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center. This event brings together 100 startups from around the world, competing for the chance to win prizes worth up to one million dollars, in collaboration with the Global Entrepreneurship Network.

The Entrepreneurship World Cup competition is the largest event for global entrepreneurs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Its goal is to attract entrepreneurial projects that serve the Kingdom’s objectives, stimulate local investment, attract foreign investments, highlight promising opportunities, involve global startups in solving national challenges, and empower partners and support entities to achieve their goals.

This event helps entrepreneurs improve their skills, refine their capabilities, and transform their ideas into successful projects that can be sold globally.

The Biban 24 forum, in partnership with the Misk Foundation and the Global Entrepreneurship Network, is one of the most important tools for the rapid development of the small and medium enterprise and entrepreneurship sectors in the Kingdom. It contributes to providing a stimulating environment in collaboration with support entities from both the public and private sectors.
