Ten digital entrepreneurs will present their startups and connect with local investors.

On Tuesday, June 25th, the 2024 InnovandoPy Startups edition will conclude with the Demo Day, part of the Ministry of Technology and Communication’s (MITIC) digital entrepreneurship maturation program. The event will take place at the Textilia Complex, located at General Santos c/ Concordia, starting at 6:30 PM. 

During the DEMO DAY, 10 startups will showcase their projects to local investors interested in innovative business models. These presentations will be linked to investors, institutions, and organizations relevant to the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and entrepreneurship sector. 

Participants who reach this stage have undergone initial selection and an intensive program of workshops and mentoring, covering essential topics for developing a technology-based company, such as Lean Canvas, Customer Development, Competitive Advantage, Financial Analysis, Metrics, UX Design, Minimum Viable Product, and Pitching. 

The finalist projects will receive USD 20,000 in seed capital, along with technical, administrative, and legal guidance provided by a team of professionals. Here are the 10 startups that will present at DemoDay:

  1. Bioblue: A technological solution that uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to optimize the management and sustainability of aquaculture, especially in fish and crustacean production.
  2. Fix: A platform connecting users with professionals specialized in home maintenance.
  3. Yapa: A platform that rewards users with points for purchases at affiliated businesses, such as restaurants, furniture stores, hair salons, and clothing stores.
  4. Rox: An AI-driven financial management platform designed to assist individuals and companies in making informed financial decisions.
  5. Infoed: A digital academic management platform for universities and schools, facilitating essential communication related to educational programs, including grades, attendance, exams, and events.
  6. Quiero mi Seguro: A platform allowing users to compare prices and coverage from various insurance companies in real time and free of charge.
  7. Enersight: A web platform centralizing industrial energy data, enabling real-time visualization and analysis from any internet-connected device.
  8. Gufit: An application efficiently connecting users with personal trainers.
  9. David vs Goliath: A virtual reality game combining rich educational narratives with clever puzzles and strategic challenges.
  10. Piensa Latam: A platform offering personalized robotics, mathematics, and programming courses to students, teachers, and institutions.

“Innovando Startups” is the first Paraguayan program supporting innovation, presented to members of the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN). GEN is a platform for programs and initiatives aimed at creating a global entrepreneurial ecosystem. It empowers people from 160 countries to unleash their ideas and transform them into promising new ventures, fostering job creation, accelerating innovation, and strengthening economic stability worldwide.
