With a full house, in the main hall of the Rectorate of the National University of the East, the “First Departmental Forum of Entrepreneurial Culture of Alto Paraná 2023” was held. An initiative that had as its main objective to encourage and strengthen the niche of micro, small and medium enterprises in the region.
“We are very happy with the response we received from both the authorities and the entrepreneurs in general, as this event was planned for them from the beginning and they were present from the different guilds where they organize,” said Eligio Francisco Acuña, general coordinator of the Entrepreneur Support Center of Ciudad del Este, the entity organizing the activity.
One of the main goals of the activity was to present the CAE as a viable option to strengthen entrepreneurs in the area. “We have the presence of entrepreneurs at different stages, some already established, others starting and also those who have an idea to undertake, our mission is to help them with the tools we have both at this event and what we offer at the support center to start or improve the management of their businesses,” detailed the teacher.
“For the CAE it is a space where we make our objectives as an organization visible, since through this activity we provide learning tools for entrepreneurs from the hand of experts in each area and also through the fair entrepreneurs have the opportunity to expose their products or services which is their main objective,” he expressed.
It should be noted that during the activity an entrepreneurs’ fair was held, where the best stand was awarded Gs. 500,000. On the occasion, books and seed capital were also raffled off for a total sum of Gs. 4,500,000.
The Entrepreneur Support Center (CAE) Alto Paraná is an organization that is fully open to all entrepreneurs in the department and has its own offices in Pavilion C of the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the National University of the East.
