Penn State UP--Flavor Flight: Labor of Love: Personal Insights into Agricultural Entrepreneurship
Philadelphia area natives Christie and Mark Holloway took a leap of faith by leaving fast-paced suburbia for life on a small farm in Centre County. From their experiences conducting on online “Barnraiser” to help secure funding to restore their 1800s barn into an event space, to their foray into sustainable farming, Christie will share their personal journey as agricultural entrepreneurs and owners of Rooted Farmstead LLC. Plus, sample food from Dolce Vita Desserts and Tait Farm Foods.
