Mark Ebel, Vice President of Business Services for AccuWeather Enterprise Solutions, will start with an overview of the weather’s impact on the food industry, and the importance of accurate weather forecasting to a variety of industries. Jason Cohen, founder of start-up flavor analytics company Gastrograph, will share how his team is building tools for quality control in the food and beverage industry. Plus, local chocolatier Andrew Rose will provide samples from his start-up fine chocolate business – Haden Confections – while speaking to the science of making chocolate.
