Penn State Great Valley - Intro to Maker Space

In this noncredit course each participant will learn basic operations of the CorelDraw Technical Suite Software, as well as the basic operations of the Trotec Speedy 400 Laser. Participants will use their imagination to create something in CorelDraw with the intent to etch/engrave and cut their creation out of Acrylic on the Trotec Speedy 400 Laser.

Laboratory Manager
Dennis Wozniak is the engineering lab manager at Penn State Great Valley. A U.S. Army veteran, Wozniak developed and instructed curriculum for satellite ground operations and held contracted positions with the Department of Defense, the National Security Agency, and NASA. He has also held various executive level positions in multiple technical start-up companies related to operations, marketing and sales of products and services.
