From Penn State to President - Alumni Diversity Entrepreneurship

Studies have reported that diverse men and women are leaving the workforce to start their own businesses."38% of Black millennials are considering leaving their jobs to start their own company" and "50% of multicultural women are thinking about leaving their jobs in the next 2 years. Over the past year, Smeal alumni Karla Trotman, the President & CEO of Electro Soft, Incorporated, and Antonio Nieves, the CEO of Interior Define, Inc., have been interviewing diverse Smeal graduates who left Corporate America and took the entrepreneurial plunge. The Smeal Alumni Diversity Entrepreneurship Talks are a collection of those discussions, discovering their journeys from Penn State to President of their own businesses.
