Please join us on Monday for the Official kick-off of Global Entrepreneurship Week, (GEW) is an annual celebration put on by ecosystem builders from around the world who are dedicated to strengthening startup communities. Philly is collectively celebrating GEW for its third year with organizers throughout the city and partners around the globe.  This year Philly is focused on uplifting local entrepreneurs during this difficult time and reminding them that there is a community of support, resources, and appreciation backing their ideas. Join us for a comprehensive effort that engages entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, support organizations, and others collaborating to advance economic growth and innovation in our city.

In Philadelphia, we strongly believe that diversity is a driver of innovation and economies suffer if a group of people are underrepresented or face structural barriers. During this year's Global Entrepreneurship Week, we envision one entrepreneurial ecosystem open to all.

This November, Global Entrepreneurship Network will celebrate 12 years of helping millions of people unleash their ideas to start and scale new businesses through Global Entrepreneurship Week. The Global Entrepreneurship Week is a collection of tens of thousands of activities, competitions, and events in 180 countries each November aimed at making it easier for anyone, anywhere to start and scale a company.

Founded in 2008, GEW inspires millions each year to explore their potential while fostering connections and increasing collaboration within their ecosystems to empower entrepreneurs and strengthen communities. In the United States alone, there are 2,500 partner organizations that conduct about 5,000 activities across all 50 states.
