Reach One, Teach One Outreach Program

Problem Solving: There is over 6,000 teenage youth in Los Angeles who are homeless with no resources, shelter, or food to live a sustainable life.

Outcomes of Problem: These teens have a lack of sufficient nutrients in the body, experiencing mental health issues, using drugs that result in violence, crime, and abuse.

Solutions to Outcomes: Our goal is to teach teens ranging from the ages of 13-19 the necessary life skills to be productive in society. We want to give them hope that there is light at the end of the tunnel. By implementing a sustainable program we'll be able to teach them how to cook healthy meals, learn a skilled trade, and provide training workshops on learning the value of money and investing. We'll provide resources to help with schooling and GED programs by partnering with major corporations to help fund the program. This program will give them a chance to learn valuable life skills that will enable them to sustain a successful life on their own.
