Scottish Goods at Community Creations at SUNY Ulster

Students in our Entrepreneurship class at SUNY Ulster collaborated with students from Glasgow, Scotland on an import/export project through SUNY COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning).  Working in teams the students exported a package of goods to their partners.  Each team then developed a marketing plan to sell the imported goods on their home campus.  Two holiday shopping events have been created by SUNY Ulster students to market the Scottish goods at Community Creations, our student-run business.  The event dates are Thursday, Nov 16 and Thursday, Dec 7 from 11:30 - 1:00.  Students on both sides of the pond practice communication and inter-cultural skills and learn about exporting and marketing from this active learning project!
