Session 'The Economic Value of Social Projects'. Deusto Entrepreneurship Week 2023

As part of the Deusto Entrepreneurship Week 2023 and within the Global Entrepreneurship Week events, Almudena Recio from the Deusto Emprende team will conduct a highly interesting session for Social Work students enrolled in the Planning course.

The aim of this session is to raise awareness of the importance of the economic aspect in social projects. We will learn to estimate their expenses, income, and possible financing sources to launch our projects sustainably and maintain them over time. Generally, when we talk about money, it's often associated first and foremost with business and profit at all costs. Therefore, this session aims to show Social Work students that the economic aspect of a social project is very important for such initiatives to succeed, endure over time, and help people who need our service/assistance for many years.

The session will be engaging and filled with examples. Almudena will explain the essential basic concepts that should be considered in every project.
