First of edition of The Freetown Pitch Night (FPN) 2026, organised in partnership with Orange Digital Center, delivered an inspiring showcase of innovation focused on the future of urban transportation in Sierra Leone.
Centered on the theme “Smart Mobility: How We Move,” the event featured five ambitious startups pitching practical and forward-thinking solutions designed to tackle pressing mobility challenges in growing cities. From improving accessibility and efficiency to leveraging technology for smarter transportation systems, each team demonstrated the creativity and determination shaping the future of mobility in Freetown.
However, Freetown Pitch Night continues to be more than just a competition. The platform serves as a dynamic meeting point for innovators, ecosystem builders, investors, and partners. Beyond the pitches, the evening fostered meaningful dialogue, collaboration opportunities, and strategic connections that will extend far beyond the stage.
The event concluded with Kam Qwik emerging as the winning startup of the night - a testament to the strength of their solution and presentation. Their achievement reflects the growing potential of homegrown innovation in solving local challenges.
