Innovation SL, in partnership with the Orange Digital Center (ODC), proudly announces the Freetown Pitch Night: Smart Mobility for Growing Cities Pitch Competition, a forward-looking initiative designed to foster innovation in urban transportation. As Freetown continues to grow and urbanize, the demand for efficient, safe, and accessible mobility solutions has become increasingly critical. This competition provides a platform for innovators, entrepreneurs, startups, and bold thinkers to present transformative ideas that address the evolving mobility needs of a rapidly expanding city.
Scheduled for 25th February 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, the event will take place at 1 Alpha Wurie Drive, Hill Station, Freetown, and will also be streamed live on the Innovation SL Facebook page to ensure wider participation and engagement. The Pitch Night is set to convene key stakeholders, innovators, and the broader community in a dynamic environment that encourages collaboration, idea exchange, and innovation.
Under the theme “Smart Mobility for Freetown,” the competition seeks groundbreaking solutions that improve transportation systems, enhance connectivity, reduce congestion, and increase safety while leveraging technology to shape the future of urban mobility. Participants are encouraged to present scalable and sustainable innovations that redefine how people and goods move within growing cities, with a strong emphasis on inclusivity, efficiency, and long-term impact.
By bringing together creative minds and solution-driven innovators, the Freetown Pitch Night aims to accelerate the development of practical, locally relevant mobility solutions tailored to Freetown’s urban context.
