Sleep Room CSUDH - Derek Orozco, Anaisa Gonzalez, Eleena Verastegui, Joshua Guerra, Barbara Waight

Sleep deprivation is highly prevalent among students at Cal State University Dominguez Hills. With as many as 70% of students reporting insufficient sleep. The consequences of sleep deprivation and daytime sleepiness are especially problematic to college students and can result in lower grade point averages, increased risk of academic failure, compromised learning, impaired mood, and increased risk of motor vehicle accidents.

We are a group dedicated to turning this problem around by providing sleep rooms for students on campus. For a small fee or membership, students will be able to sleep in a safe and comfortable space in between classes or studying.
