Forty cities participated in Startup Huddle during Global Entrepreneurship Week (Nov. 8-14, 2021) and four new chapters launched in Singapore, Zimbabwe, Guyana and Nigeria. In addition, local organizers in Southeast Asia, South America, Africa and the Caribbean coordinated multinational Startup Huddle programs, and Canada hosted a multi-city program, to build connections to neighboring regions.

During #GEW2021, Startup Huddle served as a platform for small business owners and numerous startups focused on education, food and hospitality, sustainable fashion, media, and more. Through these collaborative sessions, international experts in industries such as technology and design crossed paths with local policymakers and investors, giving participating cities around the globe the chance to expand their footprint.

Michelle Samuel, the local organizer of Startup Huddle St. Lucia, hosted the country's third annual Startup Huddle Awards to honor notable companies, supporters, and program partners that make Startup Huddle possible in the Caribbean. Dawn Hyacinth, Founder of EcoCreationz, won the Startup of the Year Award for her work in sustainable fashion.

The Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN) also brought together 38 local organizers for the Startup Huddle Ecosystem Builders Forum.
