Today, LeZero co-founder and GEN UK Chair, Marc Ortmans, announced the shortlist at the Global Entrepreneurship Congress being held in Melbourne, Australia.
LeZero is a global competition for entrepreneurs to present solutions that deliver net zero or zero carbon transportation modes and/or supporting infrastructure that is efficient, clean, sustainable and adhere to the UN’s Social Development Goals.
15 submissions from 12 countries have been selected to go forward to Stage 2 where their business plans will be judged. Following the Stage 2 jury, 5 finalists will be announced and showcased during Global Entrepreneurship Week 13-19 November.
The winner of the LeZero Innovation Prize will be awarded at a ceremony at the Startup Planet Conference which is taking place in Dubai during COP28 in December. They will receive cash and in-kind support to develop and grow their venture in 2024.
