Entrepreneurial Ecosystem: A Round-Table Discussion

This round-table discussion will examine what is necessary to create and maintain a healthy entrepreneurial ecosystem in underserved communities in Chicago's South Suburbs. The discussion will be informal, but framed and led by questions to allow for an organic conversation by experienced thought leaders who are expected to attend.

An entrepreneurial ecosystem referred to in this context is the social and economic environment that nurtures and supports entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation among residents in a specified area. We operate within ecosystems and can influence both internal and external factors. Ecosystems provide benefits, called "ecosystem services", which people depend on for their livelihood.
