The Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO), a global network of more than 10,000 leading business owners in 46 countries, celebrated Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) with the launch of EO24 on November 19, 2014. EO24 is a 24-hour, global learning event delivered via YouTube that emphasizes entrepreneurial knowledge sharing. EO24 will also feature a live stream of the EO Global Student Entrepreneurship Awards’ (EO GSEA) U.S. National Finals in Chicago, Illinois, on November 20, 2014 from 2-4 p.m. (CST). During this event, 20 student entrepreneurs will compete against their peers for the chance to advance to the EO Global Finals, to be held on April 15-17, 2015 in Washington, D.C. Thus far, more than 1,700 student competitors from more than 20 countries have participated in regional GSEA competitions.

EO Global Chairman Blair Assaly said this about the new tool, “through EO24, thriving entrepreneurial leaders from around the world will unite to discuss their unique business challenges and opportunities. For anyone currently operating or looking to start a business, EO24, as well as EO GSEA, provides timely entrepreneurial content and opportunities. It is vital for EO members to share their entrepreneurial wisdom around the world to inspire and support emerging entrepreneurs.”

In addition to the knowledge-sharing component, EO24 will feature a variety of live and previously recorded webcasts designed to drive business take-home value around growth and innovation. Online viewers will have access to entrepreneurial talks from numerous EO chapters, ranging from Austin, Cleveland and Louisiana, to international chapters like Auckland, Kolkata and Munich.
