The Business of Innovation in Bioscience: Exploring Innovators and Innovations in Drug Discovery and its Impact on Kansas City and Beyond

KU is proposing a 60-minute panel/presentation to explore KU's Institute for Advancing Medical Innovation and how it works to facilitate and advance a pipeline of drug discovery and development opportunities to accelerate these opportunities to market, including its relationship with the CureBridge Collaborative. We are also considering expanding the panel to include other regional innovators who are engaged at different points of development along the innovation/commercialization continuum to have a more robust and rounded event. In addition to discussing the challenges faced and how they have been addressed, additional topics include how IAMI has been able to leverage SBIR/STTR funding.
