Over the last decade Davies has looked after a growing portfolio of Africa-based tech-enabled early-stage businesses and is the founder of the Lagos Angel Network (LAN). He is also President of the African Business Angel Network (ABAN).

Linda Smith, President Emeritus, Angel Capital Association

Smith joins GBAN from her position as Chairman of the Board of the Angel Capital Association (ACA) which represents more than 14,000 accredited investors in the United States, Canada and Mexico. ACA is a founding member of GBAN, an inclusive community of early-stage investor networks seeking to increase angel investor capacity in burgeoning entrepreneurship ecosystems across roughly 50 countries on all six major continents.

Peter Cowley, President Emeritus of the European Business Angel Network (EBAN)

Cowley is a President Emeritus of the European Business Angel Network (EBAN), former chair of the Cambridge Business Angels and was UK Angel of the Year 2014. A Cambridge university technology graduate, Cowley has founded and run more than a dozen businesses in technology and property over the last 39 years. He has built up a portfolio of over 70 angel investments with 11 good exits (including more that is 107X and returned all invested cash) and 17 failures.
