At the Global Entrepreneurship Congress in March, GEN and 1776 announced a partnership to expand the 1776 Challenge Cup – reaching more than 50 cities around the world.

The 1776 Challenge Cup features promising, highly scalable startups that are solving the major challenges in industries like education, energy, health, cities, transportation, money and food. These startups will compete through local and regional competitions for the opportunity to participate in the Challenge Cup Global Finals next June in Washington, D.C. There they will have a chance to win over $1 million in prizes, as well as spend time with the investors, customers, media and other key connections that can help them succeed on a global scale.

GEN is partnering with 1776 for a dramatically expanded Challenge Cup to allow more startups from more places to participate.

If your organization is interested in learning more about organizing one of the Challenge Cup Local competitions – or if your startup wants to compete in one – complete the form on the 1776 Challenge Cup site.
