After months of planning, Global Entrepreneurship Week is just around the corner!
While the week itself does not officially begin until Monday November 17, 2014, GEW PresidentJonathan Ortmans will be in Greece to kick off the week at Disrupt Startup ScaleUP on November 15. The Athens event will be live cast on the GEW Global site, starting at 9am GMT.

- Startup Weekend’s Global Startup Battle. Held the weekend before and after GEW, the event is a chance for budding entrepreneurs in 100+ cities to create startups from scratch in 54 hours.
- GEW Women: Celebrating Women in Entrepreneurship. Female entrepreneurship is being celebrated worldwide with this global theme on November 19. Expect a wide range of events ranging from networking breakfasts to full-scale conferences featuring pioneers of female entrepreneurship.
- Global Business Angels Day. GEW is turning the conversation to Business Angels with this theme day on November 20. Dozens of events around the world featuring early stage investors are taking place. For a list of GBAD events, visit GEW.co/GBAD.
- Global Entrepreneurship Summit. Organized by the White House and Kingdom of Morocco, the GES will take place November 19 -21 and feature an impressive list of VIP speakers including U.S. Vice President Joe Biden, U.S. Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker, and Moroccan Minister of Economy and Finance Mohamed Boussaid.
- Startup Nations Summit. A gathering of startup-savvy policymakers in Seoul, Korea November 23 – 25, the conference hopes to continue the ongoing global conversation regarding the role of policy in entrepreneurship.
