The State of Hawai'i is in the 2020 "Global Entrepreneurship Week". Anyone can attend any of the 9 events from Nov. 16 - 22. No charge to the attendee. Dennis Boyd is the Director of the West Hawai'i Small Business Development Center in Kailua Kona on the Big Island. WHSBDC assists businesses with business planning, financial projections, financing, and a range of other small business needs. Dennis is the Chair of the Kona Kohala Chamber of Commerce’s Permitting Reform Task Force, was the Chamber’s Member of the Year for 2020, and is a regular contributor to West Hawai'i Today with a column entitled “Small Business Matters”. He has Master’s Degrees in both Public Administration and Cultural Anthropology, and with his wife, owned and operated a health care business in three states for over 30 years.
