For the past five years, the number of countries participating in Global Entrepreneurship Week has risen--a trend that should continue this November 18 - 24 during GEW 2013. Currently, national campaigns in 135 countries are shaping up and nearly 20,000 events, activities and competitions are expected.
The lineup of featured activities includes:
STARTUP OPEN
Startups launched since GEW 2012, from more than 60 countries, compete for a free trip to the Global Entrepreneurship Congress in Moscow and mentoring prizes with experienced entrepreneurs. [+MORE]

Founder teams in 200 cities go through intense 54-hour Startup Weekend boot camps to create their own startup and compete against one another in a virtual Global Startup Battle. [+MORE]

Debuting in the United States this year and hosted in the Netherlands, entrepreneurs present their business plans to investors in an effort to secure up to €1,000,000 in startup capital. [+MORE]
GEW POLICY SURVEY
The GEW Policy Survey assesses the public policies most essential to encouraging startups to launch and scale. Survey results will guide the development of a number of policy summits in participating countries.[+MORE]
CREATIVE BUSINESS CUP
