Startups are everywhere but venture capital isn’t, and the world is starting to take notice. The startup investing landscape is going through a period of unprecedented change with some of America’s most successful investors and celebrities leading the charge in early-stage startup investment. Investor focus is expanding beyond places like Silicon Valley and New York City to communities across the country and around the world.

In preparation for Global Entrepreneurship Week, Dallas, Texas will host the AngelSummit.io. The conference is being organized just prior to GEW in the hopes that everyone that attends the conference can take their new insights back to their local communities, take part in local GEW events and start to get involved in their local startup ecosystem.

AngelSummit.io is convening over 150 industry and community leaders for the first national conversation on startup investing, its impact on innovation, and ways to unleash the potential of millions of new investors.Among the confirmed speakers and participants are Dave McClure and Scott Case, active participants in GEW events, as well as other leaders in the investment and startup community such as Mark Kvamme and Paul Singh, the founders of OneVest and Mattermark, and leaders from the Angel Capital Association and UP Global.

The conference is being organized by Startup Angels in partnership with UP Global, 500 Startups, and the Dallas Entrepreneur Center.
