University Libraries: Technical Reports and Government Information for Inventors

Publicly available and free information can provide great insight when creating an invention. Technical reports describe the process, progress, or results of technical or scientific research and include in-depth experimental details, data, and results. This session will provide an overview of technical reports, other technical government information, and how to locate these materials. The searching demonstrated could be used as part of a patent prior art search.
