Abdelkarim Bakir

As Entrepreneurship Unit Lead at the Development for People and Nature Association (DPNA), I work to connect entrepreneurs, young people, businesses, and institutions through initiatives that support entrepreneurship and inclusive local development.

My experience spans project coordination, strategic partnerships, stakeholder engagement, and community development. I bring people together around shared goals and help translate ideas into practical initiatives, with a focus on creating opportunities for young people and strengthening collaboration across sectors.

A key milestone in my work was organizing NextGEN, an entrepreneurship initiative led by DPNA and the Ministry of Economy and Trade under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Amer Bisat. Bringing together entrepreneurs, public officials, academics, and community stakeholders, NextGEN celebrated entrepreneurial achievements and opened discussions on the future of entrepreneurship in Saida and surrounding area.

My role included developing the concept and program, coordinating with partners, engaging honorees and speakers, and supporting event delivery.I believe strong entrepreneurship communities grow through sustained relationships, access to support, and collaboration.

My focus is on building partnerships that help emerging ideas gain direction and connect local talent with opportunities to grow.I welcome connections with entrepreneurs, business leaders, and organizations interested in entrepreneurship development, youth opportunities, and meaningful collaboration in Lebanon.
