Arjan Ymeri

Arjan is a highly experienced management and marketing executive, who is currently serving as the Director General of Startup Albania, the State Agency for the Support and Development of Startups and Facilitators, established to build an innovative, collaborative, and sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystem in Albania. The agency operates within the framework of the Innovative Entrepreneurship Development Strategy 2024–2030, drafted by the Minister of Entrepreneurship and Business Climate in cooperation with national and international partners.

Ymeri is currently engaged in enriching the entrepreneurial system in Albania and in supporting innovation. He is an active advisor and mentor to founders and startups and is specialised in helping the startup ecosystem to cultivate new programs through a combination of work-space development, support plans, and community facilitation. Ymeri actively participates in the development of policies and legislative progression of early stage investment for startups and MSME’s in Albania.

Prior to his work at Startup Albania, Ymeri was the Executive Director of OFICINA | Innovation Hub. He has also served as Head of Sales and Marketing within a number of multinational companies in the telecommunication industry, innovation expert in a number of EU funded projects and board member of ICT training centre in Tirana Albania.
